What To Expect
Veterinary Dental Center will be with you and your pet every step of the way. From consultation to aftercare, as we aim to deliver the best of oral care for your faithful companion.
Initial Consultation
An initial examination prior to a patientʼs procedure appointment will allow an oral examination, a discussion of the treatment options, and written estimate. This consultation allows us to schedule the appropriate amount of anesthetic / surgical time needed for each patient.
Day Before Procedure
Do not feed your pet after 9 p.m. the night before the dental procedure. Water can be given until you leave home for the appointment.
Day of Procedure
An experienced and compassionate dental team will care for your pet from evaluation to treatment, to after-care. We will provide you and your veterinarian with a procedure summary, dental pictures, x-rays to illustrate the treatment he/she received as well as suggest ways to maintain his/her oral health.
A same-day consultation and dental procedure appointment are available each day for those traveling a distance. These appointments tend to fill weeks in advance.
