A bone cyst or dentigerous cyst is a fluid-filled sac that is associated with an impacted tooth.

Possible Therapy / Treatment:

Treatment involves dental x-rays, surgical extraction of the impacted tooth and any affected teeth. The cystic lining must be completely removed and biopsied. The oral surgical site is closed with absorbable sutures to attain good healing.
